Please send suitable profiles. *Sharepoint Developer: AIG: New York City but will be required to work in Wilton, CT as needed.* Job Description: The primary aim of the SharePoint Developer will play a key role developing new custom business applications on the SharePoint 2010/13. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and testing SharePoint based products that support critical business processes. Knowledge of SharePoint 2010/13 architecture and API model should provide candidate the ability to know how and when to best use the required technical components and communicate this decision effectively within the development team. Under the direction of the Senior SharePoint Developer, this position will interact with other development team members to aid the design & development process to meet prioritized business requirements. The candidate will collaborate with team members to establish development standards and opportunities and effectively share knowledge with others. Job Requirements: (e.g. what skills/experience will an ideal candidate need to have): First and foremost, the candidate must be an excellent Developer who loves SharePoint. The SharePoint Developer must understand large enterprise solution development and have the ability to convert business and technical requirements to effectively develop solutions using the most advantageous and appropriate technologies. The candidate will thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, including developers, technologists, project managers, the executive team and clients ? Genuine passion for development and general Microsoft technology exposure ? Thorough understanding of Agile approaches (such as Scrum) ? Strong understanding of design patterns, Object Oriented Programming and the full SDLC ? Multi-tiered application design and development ? Web Services experience ? Ability to balance functional needs with business goals and technological capabilities ? 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying custom solutions in Microsoft SharePoint including: o Custom workflow development o Custom web part development o Automated build and deployment on SharePoint projects ? 3+ years of experience with developing .NET Web applications ? Preferred experience and knowledge of SharePoint 2013 ? Experience using the SharePoint frameworks as an application development platform ? Proficiency in Visual Studio ? Proficiency in technologies including ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, C#, SharePoint, XML and XSLT, WCF, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and SQL Server ?
