The Tester reports to the QA Manager for direction and feedback on a daily basis, and will work as part of a small but high-powered team of testers. *Principle Responsibilities:* · Conduct functionality and performance testing on every milestone of the project using provided Test Plans/Scripts. · Compose detailed, clear, and thoughtful bugs, and enter them into our JIRA database. · Review all reported bugs and keep fully on top of a large, complicated project. *Background and Knowledge:* · At least 3 years of Quality Assurance experience. · Deep familiarity with implementation of quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards, and tools. · Understanding of all major computer systems and platforms. · Experience testing front-end web based software. · Understanding of Agile methodology is a plus. *Core Competencies:* · Well-organized, with attention to detail and excellent follow-through. · Good communication and writing skills. · Excellent analytical skills. · Someone who is self-motivated, takes initiative, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
