Please send suitable profiles. *SharePoint Developer, **Arbor in MI* *6 months contract * As an Enterprise Content Management SharePoint Developer, the ideal candidate will help the ECM team maintain and onboard internal business organizations while defining and implementing complex integrated content management solutions. The SharePoint Developer will work closely with the Development Team on projects including installations, customizations, and deployments. Their main priority is to deliver business value to clients by developing and delivering solutions customized for the clients' current and future business needs. As part of this opportunity, the Senior SharePoint Developer will work with cutting edge Microsoft technologies (including SharePoint 2010 and 2013), and be involved in all aspects of the customer engagement, design, development and delivery of applications. Applicants must have 5+ years of SharePoint Development experience, have exposure with SharePoint 2013, be team oriented and collaborative, be able to interface with customers (if needed), and have custom development experience. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Contributing to the creation, optimization, and maintenance of SharePoint sites to address the needs and challenges of the business. Involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle from requirements collection, through development, to maintenance and support. Participates in the documentation, design, and development of the custom SharePoint applications. Translates high-level business requirements into specific design. Adheres to industry standard practices and methodologies in .NET, MVC, SQL, etc. Develops basic and advanced SharePoint artifacts, including (but not limited to) web parts, custom fields, workflows, custom lists and views, content types, etc. Ensures compliance with design and development phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Participate in design sessions, code reviews, development team meetings, etc. Stays up to date on current trends in SharePoint related technologies. Ensures the execution and documentation unit tests of software code. Participates in the documentation and review of the technical aspects of the application.
