Participate in on-call rotations to support a 24/7 environment. Ensure adequate and optimal measures are in place for the maintenance, performance and capacity management in RBC Capital Markets.* *Primary Responsibilities* *· Business alignment with all US Wholesale businesses.* *· Design, engineer and support low-latency environment including kernel settings* *· Troubleshoot system issues and resolve them in a timely manner* *· Develop automated processes for the team to maintain the environment* *· Integrate solutions that are developed locally to our global partners.* *· Provide support during company events (power down, DR tests, etc)* *Authorities, Impact, Risk* *· Support a complex fast-paced trading environment.* *· Ensure all control items (Audit, Compliance, SOX, and Operational Risk) are adhered to with minimal issues.
