*IT Business Analyst for Regulatory Reporting*
*Description*
*The US Regulatory team in R&F IT is looking for a business analyst in NY.
The role will be responsible for analysis of Mandatory Regulatory changes
and continues improvements on various Regulatory Reports in Axiom reporting
tool for US Regulatory Reporting, specifically working with IT
stakeholders, CFO Change, FA Change and FA teams to understand the
regulatory requirements and data models. Responsibilities are to transform
business requirements into functional and technical specifications for
development and QA teams. *
*Other responsibilities -*
- *Participate in testing along with QA & UAT teams.*
- *Document and assist in training of end users with automated
Regulatory filing.*
- *Perform data analysis by accessing the data using queries or
reporting tools , including mapping the business functions to the data and
data model, data reconciliations, gap analysis*
- *Develop functional requirements and obtain timely sign-off by all
respective parties.*
- *A strong knowledge of financial instruments with regulatory
experience and reporting/analytical skills*
- *Work closely with business users and IT development team throughout
the various phases of the project.*
*Qualification*
*College degree.*
*Essential*
- *8+ years of experience with investment banking and regulatory
reporting.*
- *Business Analysis experience *
- *Strong written and interpersonal communication skills*
- *Proven business analysis skills, including business and functional
specification development*
- *Experience in database skills.*
- *Experience in Axiom/Business Objects/OBIEE reporting tools is a plus*
- *General Ledger knowledge is a plus*
- *Proven team player with a flexible approach - Self-starter*
- *Experience in dealing with offshore and onsite teams.*
- *Strong problem solving skills*
- *Highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.*
