Please send suitable profiles ASAP. *Maximo consultant for Westchester County, New York* *Location:* * White Plains, NY ( face to face )Position Type: ContractJob Title: Developer Analyst* *Job Purpose:* -Responsible for supporting existing production applications including production operation, bug fixes, modifications, enhancements and upgrades. -These responsibilities extend to applications design, development and implementation /installation of systems, and day-to-day operations of systems backup and recovery. *Job Functions:* -Support existing applications including production operation, bug fixes, modifications, enhancements and upgrades. -Manage resolution of application production issues adhering to our client's IT change management and issue tracking processes. Verify and ensure applications are functioning properly after any change. -Work with database administrators, portfolio teams, and developers in coordinating system-wide updates and installing upgrades and patches. -Work includes responding during off hours or 24X7 on-call as needed to support emergencies, systems outage, and critical infrastructure upgrades. -Perform installation, configuration, change management, and testing activities as required. -Independently troubleshoot and research challenging problems. Resolve issues. Appropriately refer hardware issues. -Perform day-to-day operations of systems backup and recovery. -Communicate with stakeholders/management on applications performance/enhancements. -Ensure the performance and reliability of business systems. -Assist in analysis, design, coding and development activities that include implementation of new solutions and custom developments. -Ensure timely completion of and high quality deliverables and adherence of projects to budgetary constraints. -Work with end users and manage requirements. -Provide accurate and timely project status reporting *Skill Requirements:* -BS in Computer Science or a related area of study from an accredited school, or equivalent. -6+ years of applicable experience, preferably in the area of application production support. -Proficient with Windows Server 2003\2008\2012 and strong technical (hands on) understanding of operating systems. -Demonstrated understanding of Active directory / DNS; User and User Rights management / File System Rights (NTFS Permissions); security configuration and implementation; group policy management; and backup systems/ data backup management. -Experience with relational databases and proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting. -Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. -Must have ability to work flexible hours and respond during off hours, or 24X7 on-call as needed, to support emergencies, systems outage, and critical infrastructure upgrades. -Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - A strong track record of professional success. Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on tasks. -Proven ability to stay aware of current trends and technical advancements. -Effective problem solving and excellent time management skills -Experience with the following applications desired but not required: Maximo, Maximo BIRT, BI Publisher, Meridian, AutoCAD, PTR-Plus, and Portia.
