Role: Oracle Consultant, Performance, Data Management Location: Exton, PA Duration: 6 months contract As a key member of this team, you will: • Enhance our ETL and Data Warehouse to dramatically improve load and response performance. • Execute tests and identify, triage and fix performance bottlenecks. • Analyse appropriate reports/logs to identify issues. Qualifications/Requirements: • 7+ years combined experience on Oracle technology, either as an Oracle Developer, Application DBA or Production DBA in a large Data Warehouse environment • Expert in database performance tuning and database architecture • Ability to optimize queries and perform PL/SQL code profiling • Expert with Oracle SQL, optimizer, and query plan Expert on Oracle Wait Interface, AWR and ASH report-based performance tuning • Expert on Oracle memory and I/O internals • Expertise in Database Architecture/Design and Configurations including memory aspects (SGA/PGA tuning). • Working knowledge of networking, systems and storage as it relates to database technology • Skilled with Oracle Enterprise Manager • Managing physical database design and implementation • Researching and recommending solutions that best meet business needs and Enterprise operational requirements. • Expert diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem solving for Oracle. • Creation and execution of Oracle performance test plans • Defining and driving strategy for database availability, scalability, manageability, and agility • Extensive experience with large Oracle Database / Data Warehouse environments Nice to Have: • Advanced experience with ETL systems and Data Integration tools • Experience with Oracle RAC • Experience with Oracle Exadata • Experience in the P & C Insurance Industry Role: AWS Consultant, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data Management Location: Exton, PA Duration: 6 months As a key member of this team, you will migrate our exiting On Prem BI solution into AWS: • Migrate the existing reporting and semantic specifications to enable our Business Intelligence solution within AWS. • Make modifications to the existing semantic layer (relational and dimensional) and data models to support operations within AWS. • Help deploy a secure, performant and scalable solution within AWS. Qualifications/Requirements: • At least 5 years’ experience developing Business Intelligence Dashboards and Reports using IBM/Cognos. • At least 5 years’ experience implementing Cloud based Business Intelligence and Reporting solutions. • At least 5 years’ experience working in a Cloud environment such as AWS. • At least 5 years’ experience with multidimensional models, such as star schemas, snowflakes, de-normalized models, handling “slow-changing” dimensions/attributes. • At least 5 years’ experience with JavaScript and Java development. • At least 5 years’ experience with Oracle and PL-SQL. • M.S preferred, B.S. degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field. • Demonstrable understanding of software development methodologies, especially Agile (sprints, stories, points, pairing, etc.). • Strong oral and written communication skills.
