Please let me know if anyone are available for the below role *Role: DataStage Architect* * Location: Chicago, IL Duration: Long term* *REPLY TO bhar...@wininfosys.com <bhar...@wininfosys.com>* We are looking for Sr. Developer/Architect with at least 8-10 years of experience designing and developing high volume, time sensitive batch load process for the portfolio Management System. The candidate will be involved in the integration of Charles River IMS with other data sources utilizing Datastage/Unix/Oracle/Mainframe and Sybase. The candidate will be responsible for, understanding the requirements and coming up with a high availability and reliable architecture for the batch interface from the various systems. *High-level Job Duties:* Guides the development, specification and communication of application or infrastructure architectures used by multiple business or application systems. Provides in-depth technical consultation to the clients, business partners, and IT Management to develop plans and directions to assure the integration of corporate business area requirements. Provides training to other application or infrastructure architecture staff. • Responsible for being a Architect/Senior Developer using datastage/Unix/Oracle/Mainframe and Sybase from the ground up and define the work for interfacing with various data sources. • Provides technical expertise at the highest level with ability to work with latest enhancement available in datastage 11.3. • Participate in full-life cycle development activities including analysis of business requirements, defining standards, creating technical designs, developing solutions and unit testing. • Create Data model suitable for high performance load and retrieval to meet the critical SLA. • Responsible for participating in the team’s software design reviews and code reviews per Northern Trust’s standards and industry best practices. • Provide technical analysis for current projects; including participating in research, requirements definition and execution. • Assist in maintenance of developed components, as well as best-practices documentation in division knowledge bases. • Document and/or maintain troubleshooting guides and support procedures. • Participate in selection of tools, software, and upgrades. • Provide afterhours fire call support for recently deployed changes and occasional escalation from the Support Team. • Proven ability to handle several assignments simultaneously • Proven ability to work independently • Great communication and people skills *Knowledge/Skills* At least 8-10 years of experience designing and developing high volume, time sensitive transactional applications for the financial industry using the following: • Datastage 8.5/11.3 • Unix/Linux. • Oracle 12c - Understand SQL, procedures, functions and packages.
