3D audio with real time ITD, Doppler, HF Damping, Elevation, source
direction, obscuration and so on,
on any number of speakers comprised by 8 and 64, any position in
space, MIDI or internal automation on paths, no compression, and more
and more again...
I can't see nothing new in this "Auro" and more I can't see a
product, an hardware or similar that any sound designer can use
"yesterday" :-)
Now with DTS HD Master Audio we can release our 3D audio mixes
(ambisonic, 3D-EST, panning, as you prefer) on Blu-Ray and a lot of
home theater systems
can enjoy them at home simply adding more speakers.
Too much ado for nothing.
It's just my opinion...
