Hello again, To start answering my own question - I've got a method going now where I route the output channels of the VVMic-enabled track to Jack, and then record the output in Logic. This seems baroque, but at least it seems to work.
I have a test file I made where I snapped my fingers in 8 equally spaced points clockwise around the TetraMic. When I decode to stereo, it sounds as though there's some mix-up in the back, which is only partially fixed by swapping Capsule #3 and #4 in the Reaper session, which seems wrong. Are there any TetraMic users out there who have nuggets of wisdom on this? More generally, what kinds of workflows have people developed when working with the TetraMic? I'm curious to know what's out there. thanks, - jascha On Apr 27, 2011, at 6:49 PM, Jascha Narveson wrote: > > Hi, list - > > I'm a newcomer to David McGriffy's VVMic software - I'm using the Reaper > template that he puts on his site, but can't quite figure out how to get an > 8-channel decoding happening.
