Yep - I have been using one with my DR-680 - lots of recordings with all chan. simultaneously. I have no complaints - in fact, I've just ordered a second one so I can do round-the-clock recordings. There are no instructions so it took a moment to work out how to charge it, but it's AOK from my perspective.
