am i reading this right and the guy invented pseudostereo for surround? why, that's utterly brilliant.

but i have prior art: one tweeter in my ambi rig is blown (making the corresponding speaker a bandpass), and to make it less distracting until i can get a replacement, i took the box and put it in the rear (which is clearly directional encoding).
