Hi all, Thanks for all input regarding on the Tascam DR-680 vs. Roland R-44. I borrowed a DR-680, updated to latest 1.20 Firmware. And whoa, ganging of the recording TRIM settings were there. Also M/S decoding.
Then I thought the M/S decoding of WX in the headphone out would be great, a simple way of verifying the recording. But I cant find a way of BOTH having M/S decoded only in headphones AND ganged channels 1-4 at the same time. Any ideas, what have I missed? I can gang the channels when not decoding M/S. (I've listened to lots of undecoded M/S in headphones over the years so no great problem, but just wanted to see if there was some trick I just don't understand.)
