Looks like about the high end of what I can afford. But that will be perfect, thank you. I'm fairly handy with a soldering iron provided that there's no surface mount involved - I trained before it was invented!
I'm trying to capture audio with everything from a 600d through an iPad and even a couple of Macs but nothing is giving me the quality I need or want. Phantom powering (strictly not phantom, but 9v) to a Panasonic capsule via a current source has given me excellent results considering the cost. Noise hits me as soon as the audio leaves the mic - even if I buffer it up a bit, so the Zoom is probably going to do it for me. Thanks!
