No hands-on experience and I don't know if it samples at 192kHz but it is quite an impressive piece of kit. I have always preferred dedicated recorders for location recording rather than laptop and desktops. The latter are fine for post-production in a nice air-conditioned room with a comfortable chair and proper monitors. Failing that, 2 Alexis HD24XRs locked by word-clock and MIDI timecode might be a simpler solution.
