[Sursound] The Ghent System

Omitting the SQ matrixing, and using it for 4.0, has anyone here 
experience of the Ghent System that was invented by Ben Bauer et al 
in the 70s?  It was written up with equations for getting from what 
we now call WXY in JAES Jan/Feb 1978, VOl.26, No.1/2, wherein there 
is mention of recordings done at Tanglewood and the Proms.  Does 
anyone have these recordings in 4.0 (NOT SQ) format?
