Hi,
Is anybody using the Jack plugin for VLC? When attempting to reproduce
an audio or video file through jack, the output audio has gaps.
I filled a bug,

but it turns out very few people is using the jack plugin, and nobody is
mantaining it.
Tested in the VLC 2.0.3 under Ubuntu 12.04.
