When the em32 Eigenmike was in prototype form, mh acoustics promoted it as up to fourth-order (although the fourth-order components had to be both low- and high-pass filtered). Since it has started shipping, they have only promoting it as a third-order mic. >From this it seems safe to conclude that the mic can produce fourth-order components, but that they will be of limited use.
