In googling "Ambisonics", fourth down on the list I came across this
YouTube video from March 2011 called "Ambisonics -- what is it":

It was made by David Wood (EBU) and Andrew Mason (BBC). It is not
clear what the purpose of the video is or exactly what the EBU is
doing in terms of Ambisonics. Apparently, David Wood is "Deputy
Director, EBU Technology and Development, at the EBU Headquarters in
Geneva Switzerland".
Is the EBU really taking Ambisonics seriously?
