Greetings to Everyone,
Considering the recent discussion on inexpensive speakers ('Very inexpensive
surround speakers'), I thought budget-minded persons and Ambisonic aficionados
would be interested to know that there's a TetraMic being auctioned on eBay
(ends next Tuesday around 6:30 PST). Ok, I'm the person responsible for the
listing. I received grant monies to do a few upgrades, and this is use-it or
lose-it funding. So I'll use it to get a Metric Halo or similar recorder, a new
mic, blah blah. I gave a lot of thought to selling my 'older' equipment (to
include a DR-680) and now, by flip of a coin, I'm listing the TetraMic with
four preamps on eBay. (Not to worry, Len. The grant money will buy me a new,
identical set.) Anyway, it's a complete ensemble that I'm sure someone could
put to very good use. Condition-wise, everything looks new and works perfectly.
