cuts both ways. i have seen/heard lots of horrible art whose only redeeming quality was that it was incredibly hard to perform. a violin wasn't invented in a day, rather it is the latest state of a long evolutionary process. so don't mistake current new interfaces for music as the pinnacle of human achievement either.
