Dear Sursound members,
I'm currently writing my dissertation on angular distortion in stereo microphone techniques and there are a couple of papers that I'm having real trouble finding and I was wondering if anyone could help? The papers are both on the level and timing differences that will create a particular phantom image over a stereo speaker setup. The papers are: * Gert Simonson's 1984 Master's Thesis from the Technical University of Denmark in Lyngby * Mertens, H., 1965: "Directional hearing in stereophony theory and experimental verification". European Broadcasting Union Rev. Part A, 92, 1-14 I've found plenty of papers citing one or both of the above so they must be around somewhere! The EBU archive that I've found only goes back to 1992 (http://normo.uk/s/EBUArch?) but I have messaged them asking if they may be able to help me get the article. I've had no luck at all in finding Gert Simonson's paper and it is probably the more heavily referenced of the two. My supervisor suggested that you fine chaps may well be able to help me. If not an inter-university-library loan seems like the next logical step however there is no guarantee that will come through in time. I would be extremely grateful if anyone was able to help. All the best, Will Anderson? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
