Princeton 3D Audio and Applied Acoustics Lab - Sr. Technical Support Staff
II

This role provides day-to-day support for the lab and facilitates audio
research experiments.  Activities include researching and purchasing new
equipment, helping design and fabricate test apparatuses, and
troubleshooting hardware and software issues.  Frequently this position
requires creating custom applications to work with emerging technologies
like computer vision and inertial tracking.  This role will require some
design and fabrication of mechanical and electro-acoustical devices.

The ideal candidate will have:
-A strong background in supporting audio hardware and software including
diagnostics and repair
-Experience providing general computer support for Macs and PCs
-Experience with computer networking
-Extensive skills in programming for OS X, iOS and Windows using C, C++,
Objective-C
-Preferably experience with writing firmware and using protocols such as I2C
-Some experience with systems and hardware design and fabrication
-Experience with fabrication using mills and lathes or a desire to learn
