Hi Eero. Your method is similar to what Fons explained here: http://kokkinizita.linuxaudio.org/ambisonics/uhjtest/ Fons is using his own software, while you are using a goniometer.
Is your goniometer part of a UHJ decoding hardware, or software? It would be nice to have a common method to detect UHJ, in the form of a simple software. Or is it something that only experts can do? -- Marc On Sun, 19 Apr 2015 17:23:52 +0300 Eero Aro <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi All > > I don't have an UHJ decoder hooked up at the moment, but by listening > to Flower of Life in stereo and looking at the goniometer I must say > that this recording is not UHJ encoded. > > There is a lot of content with large phase differences.
