Is this really correct? I see ... huge opportunities for future

It is...

have to admit that ACN makes much more sense from a channel ordering

People will have to learn to distinguish between "SF mike" and "YouTube"
Ambisonics formats. It's not about HOA, Google decided, resistance was
lowish - and now we probably have two < 1st order formats >.
It is maybe not a huge damage, as long as all "these" VR 360º
postproducers are just aware of the theoretical basics. Otherwise...

P.S.: Means X goes into Y, Y into Z and Z into X. How does it
sound? :-)
"Quite good, but we decided to switch over to Dolby Atmos for VR - after
extensive listening to SF mike recordings via Jump Inspector..." :-D
I simply would have introduced AmbiX as HOA format, the real idea
behind the AmbiX development anyway. Not at 1st order...
But if people love to convert all the time and especially don't forget
to convert, things will work out. Just follow Google and BELIEVE in
their wisdom and power.
