That, in theory, is not so difficult. Problems start in real life.

If your capsules are 2 cm apart, then at 100 Hz you need around
29 dB gain to bring the difference signal up to the same level
as one of the mics. That also means that gains must be matched
to 0.1 dB or so to get something close to a fig-8, and noise 
will be increased by 32 dB.

And the required gain increases by 6 dB for each octave down.

But with 4 inputs you can have only 4 independent signals.
