For anyone interested (in this group),

We’d be love to extend an invitation to an after hours gathering of the spatial
kind Mach1 is hosting with Avid. Thursday October 17TH at Mach1 studio in
Tribeca during AES New York. If you would like to attend please email
[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> (space is limited)

as well as a VIP trial of our Mach1 Spatial System more details below:

A couple of people mentioned the Bose headphones that have an Inertia
Measurement Unit (IMU), they can be used with our workflow and our integrations
will support mixes directly to all Bose AR enabled devices for ease of use.

If you use Protools HD/Ultimate please send us your iLok account name and we
can deposit licenses accordingly. Our studio has been using these tools for a
couple of years on high profile VR & AR projects both linear and interactive
(in engine) as well as location based. There are also tools for converting the
mix to other multichannel surround/spatial formats as well as tools for
deploying in game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine (game engine
plugins/packages upon request).

We have integrations with Samsung VR, NYTimes VR Apps, National Geographic VR
Apps and more, and can supply the Mach1 Spatial SDK for any app that is
interested in expanding its surround/spatial audio feature sets.

About Mach1
Mach1 <http://www.mach1.tech/> Spatial is a Virtual Vector Based Panning
(VVBP/SPS) system contained into a single multichannel deliverable through
already existing audio containers and codecs, leveraging & preserving
traditional audio best practices while enabling full 3DOF interactive spatial
sound as well as 6DOF when integrated into a 3D Game Engine. Mach1 Spatial
System and spatial audio format does not require any audio library or media
engine and can function fully on top of any existing DAW/audio system/engine.
The Mach1 Spatial System takes all traditional post-production practices and
allows them to be deployed for interactive mediums such as VR, AR, MR and
installations. Whether roomscale (6DOF) or 360 videos/cinematic VR (3D0F), the
format shares a single vector space that is infinitely scalable and solves
creative limits caused by alternatives such as ambisonics or game object audio
implementation.
