Arthur, I don’t have an Ambeo - I tried one, didn’t like it for many reasons. I have a first generation ST450, a TetraMic, an OctoMic, a Røde NT-SF1 and a Voyage Audio 20A on test. Oh, and a Zoom H3-VR.
I have a Sound Devices MixPre-10 II I’ll do another test when I have a bit more time, but on the quick test I did earlier, I dod not see those differences. I’ve never used the Ambisonic plug-in except for that one test, as there’s very little point for me.
