Hello.

Does anyone here have experiences with Nevatons 'VR' FOA-microphone?
Types of usage, comparisons - 'qualitative' and 'quantitative',
considerations after some use?

We have been using a Nevaton VR microphone some time now for various
kinds of recordings, time to draw some conclusions, but want to hear
from others.

My impressions, more or less fitting with the expectations i guess:

      Cons:

        - reduced spatial resolution in the high-end
        - more weight and size than the other microphones

      Pros:

        - great dynamic response in the low-end
        - no noise for any practical use
        - much neede choices for sensitivity and low-cut filter
        - robust make

I'm especially interested in how others consider the qualitative
give-and-take of keeping the lo-end at the cost of less spatial
resolution in the higher end. Based on our impressions i'm not sure
what i prefer - possibly the fuller sound from the added bass-response
compensates somewhat?

Cheers,

-anders
