Hi everybody!
I have recently suscribed to the list for I have a "prehistoric"
PC/XT. It is an AMSTRAD PC 1512, with originally 512 Kb, upgraded to
640 Kb, 8Mhz-8086 CPU, a special 64 kb,16 colours CGA 640x200 video
card built-in in the motherboard. This PC was designed in the UK and
was sold a lot in there and even a Magazine called PCPlus was
launched because of its release.
But to run a number of programs I need more memory. The fact is that
it is very difficult for me to get a expanded memory card, with at
least 2 Mb. I need some other parts, but this is enough to begin.
Could someone anywhere in the world to tell me where could I get it?
A store of old or new or refurbished parts, maybe? The idea is to buy
it with credit card.
