thanks for the info.
fwiw, the last six weeks have been like something out of a Kafka
novel. everything is suddenly out of whack, both in my personal life
and on every computer i use. i've already had to give up on my
ancient 386, and just last week i had to dump my zipdrive and
several of my zipdisks. then yesterday i had to take the keyboard off
of my seven year old survivor notebook. it looks like it's dead.
argghhh! i am suddenly locked in on either win95 or NT. no more
Desqview, Windows 3.1 or Zipslack Linux. anybody want to buy a used
name. Rich Pearl sounds to wealthy for me. as soon as i find someone
who can afford to support the name i'm changing it to Poor Stone.
btw, my brother told me my nephew was sitting at the PC clicking away
while i was out of the room. i think he was clicking on the buttons
for setting the alignments.
---
from somewhere eagerly awaiting the end of this millenium, it's hard
to believe that the next one can be much more convoluted, but knowing
recent luck, it ain't gonna' make much of a difference, it's rich
pearl
_i hope i can still catch it all through the ether_
