My $0.02:
We (anglo-americans) live in a secular society. People who are
southern, rural and/or fundamentalist christian are less concerned
with secular matters and more concerned with problems such as Y2KB.

Your best source for information is thhe source of the problem...the
hardware manufactures, programmers and, it seems, managment of the
organisation where the problem arises.
The best information I've ever read is from a programmer who wrote a
lengthy guide for managers (not IT personnel) to correct the problem.
