Hi there. is it possible for someone to help me? There is an uninstaller called uninstall manager that I install that has a trial period of 30 days. you can get it from http://members.tripod.com/~umpage The file is about 400mb oops. I mean 400kb long it is a self-extracting file. I'm trying to find out how it makes it so that if you uninstall the program and then reinstall it it can still keep track of how many days you have left to try it. I really hate it when things get out of control with new files being created and new entries being added to the registry. I managed to find some leftover registry entries but deleting them didn't do anything. I am really intrigued as to how this program keeps track of the trial period and my curiocity is getting the better of me and I'm wondering if someone could download it and tell me how it works and what it does to my system. As I said before, I really hate it when the system is changed and doesn't tell me what is actually changed.
