Hmm, thanks for the info but . . . I don't think so.
Like Pippi says, it is "crassly commercial" to the point
of being insulting.
The really insulting thing is that it sounds like they
are ignoring (or haven't heard of) Universal Time which is
already being used by most (all?) people who have a need
for global time, such as those of us who listen to the
radio. <g>
Besides, I don't know about the idea of changing to base
10 for time measurement. If it should be changed to fit in
better with computers and the internet, perhaps base 16
would be more practical. Anyway, I could rant for a long
time about the poor choice of base 10 for numbers in
general ...... but I won't. <VBG>
