Bill's maternal grand father was banker and set up a trust fund of
ONE MILLION dollars for his future first grand son(The banker had
only one child :-)). This was in the forties (?). Do a little cost
of living/earning in those days and you will know what it amounts .
Bill had always known of the trust fund but decided he is not going
to touch it. His mother was no wimpy socilite either. From the brief
glimpses I get the impression that she is tough as nails hard-boiled
bitch under all the charm.
Bills father is a successful lawyer with one of the most prestigious
firms in Wash. They avoided lime light but were with in a heart beat
of the power centre and have used that power in many ways to
sooth/enhance their children's especially Bill's career. Bill went
to one the most exclusive schools in Seatle etc...etc....
