I am going to start selling old computers for low prices for
people who cannot afford new expensive computers. mainly by
collecting old parts and old computers, and upgrading/fixing/
building them first. This way I can both work on a subject I like,
and help people too.

Along with the pre-installed shareware/freeware software package
that they will receive, I am also going to put the shareware
version of Arachne along with other DOS internet utilities.
This brings me to a question:
I want to be able to use the Arachne dialer to connect to the
internet, but without actually running Arachne. This is because
of a program-menu I will put in the computer. I want to put
a "dial to the internet" option in it, which will use the
Arachne dialer to connect. The menu uses batch files to run.
Anyone knows how to control the arachne dialer via such batch
file? also a problem is the WATTCP.CFG configuration, which
is changing every log-in due to the Dynamic IP that ISPs use.
For now I am using an .EEK file in Arachne which re-write the
WATTCP.CFG with the new info. But how am I going to do it
without Arachne, if I only use the dialer?

Any idea, including suggestions for other, more fitting to this
purpose dialers will be of a great use.
