G'day all, Ben A L Jemmett wrote: > InterServer uses undocumented calls to INT 21h (M$'s API > documentation probably omits them or lists them as reserved; I haven't checked > the List yet) that aren't present in DR-DOS, and therefore InterServer gets > confused and scraps the disk. It's interesting to note that Filelink (the DR-DOS LapLink equivalent) will run without problems on MS-DOS 3.3 to 6.22; OEM-modified DOSs, and even within the Win95 DOS box (if FAT32 isn't being used). Interlink (the Microsoft product) not only kills DR-DOS disks, it also makes a mess of MS-DOS 3.3, 4.01 and some of the OEM-modified "MS-DOS"s. Maybe this is one aspect where DR-DOS is _more_ compatible than MS-DOS!? cheers, Fraser Farrell http://www.dove.net.au/~fraserf/ To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
