Hi Karen,
I use LYNX sometimes. What I do is dial in and load a
packet driver (pppd) and from there I run a number of
things. Once logged in, I run lynx by typing "lynx" while
in the directory where I keep the executable. That
directory contains only the following. (I dumped the rest)

  LYNX EXE 485 200 98-08-12
  WATTCP CFG 123 98-08-05
  LYNX CFG 19 825 99-01-20
  HOTLIST HTM 2 362 99-01-14
  HISTORY HTM 11 257 99-03-22

The dialer and packed driver is the dos port by Antonio
Lopez Molero. It comes in a complete package which is not
too hard to set up once you figure out which parts are not
relevant. <g> It is available in lots of places. Try a
link off www.fdisk.com or from tvdog. His site can be
found through fdisk as well.
Once you have this set up there are lots of internet
programs like LYNX which will run on it.
I hope this is of some use to you.

Cheers,
       Ole Juul
