If you just want to get your mail while on vacation...why not just
log on to your home mail account from wherever you can connect...
might be a bit slower - but not require your computer to be
plugging away unattended at home. Just use the appropriate POP
address and password - and if you like, leave the mail on the
server for you to get when you get back home.
Your idea might be cool if you wanted to use it as something of an
e-mail fire-wall but filters on Pegasus do fine for me.....
