Hi all,
I just acquired an Ultra 486 sx/25 notebook, I was wondering if anyone is
familiar with this brand and what you may know about it. This is the first
notebook I have ever had so I don't anything abou them. I do know that it
only has 2 meg of ram on board and I would like to know if it will take
standard ram or if I will have to try and locate some special notebook kind
of ram. I also noticed that is has a knock-out on the side where it
appears a modem would go. Where would someone go about finding a modem
that will fit into a laptop? Is that something special that varies with
each laptop or are they more standardized. I'm not sure what kind of hard
drive it has in it yet, I think their may be something wrong with it though
because the person I got it from started having trouble with the fat table
and that is why they wanted to get rid of it. It also has some kind of
port on the bottom of the computer that has a cover that slides over it to
protect it. Does anyone know what this would be for?
