HI, Guys, If you're not far from Pensacola, Florida,
or don't mind paying shipping for a nice old survivor built
like a battle tank, check this one out.
Contact Don directly, since my only connection with the
deal is that I'm forwarding it to the one place
on the 'net where I know the beast might
actually find people who know what it really is.
I had one of these, and it was a wonderful machine,
and it was a starter machine for four
different people after I traded it, and one of those
is now making a living building and setting up current cutting-edge
systems. EGA monitors and controllers are
rather scarce now. The Wyse 286 can laugh at events that would
kill almost any modern run-of-the-mill Pentium-class machine, and upgrade
possibilities might be limited only by a combination of your
imagination, budget, time, and abilities.

Have an old IBM compatible Wyse 286 computer that would make a great unit
for word processing and any other dos type applications as well as, a good
starter computer for someone including a good packet station for any ham
radio ops.
The unit is in mint and excellent working and physical condition.
The computer comes with a 5-1/4 high density floppy drive, 40mb mfm Seagate
internal hard drive, IBM full height 30mb mfm internal hard drive, 8
expansion slots, 640mb 30 pin ram with additional 16mb 30 pin ram that will
include, EGA 14 inch monitor, EGA video card, keyboard, 1 serial and 1
parallel port along with all cbles.
Will include both Dos 5.0 and Wp 5.0 if wanted or needed since the hard
drives aren't loaded with any software at this time; but, do work and will
need to be set up and formatted for your own liking.
Asking $50.00 plus shipping since the unit quite big.
If interested or know of anyone that might let me know via return e-mail.
Thanks.
Talk to you soon/later.
