There goes another one! While so many are trying to get into the Windows,
I'm trying to get out of them! It seems they're just going out of one
window and into another. If the X Window developers eventually dominate
the Linux/Unix operating systems, it'll only mean more bowing and posturing
in favor of what they wanted to diminish: Microsoft and MS Windows! And
the PAW developer is following suit.

The X Window system being developed for Linux may be a much stabler variant
of Microsoft's, but -- in my opinion -- windows stacked upon windows are
still plain messy. Surely the use of VCs (virtual consoles) under Linux is
simpler than layers of windows for the management of multiple tasks. The
developer of VMiX seemed to appreciate this; even when he did allow for
multiple windows on a screen, he didn't layer them -- and he even leaned
toward literal multiple monitors, instead of multiple windows, if more than
one task needed to be visible at the same time (VMiX could handle this).

All preferences and methods considered, I still believe the CLI is more
logical than icons and windows for understanding and utilizing the computer
interface most efficiently.
