G'day all,

I need some help to identify and configure a network card.

It has a couple of glue patches where labels _used_ to be attached; and
one of these must have been the mandatory FCC identifier :( Two labels
still remain: one is a warranty label dated 23 November 1992, the other
is the usual NetWare Approved symbol. There's also a Made In Taiwan
written on the card itself.

It's a 16-bit ISA card with both BNC and RJ45 connectors. There are no
switches or jumpers (may be a PnP model?). The boot ROM socket is
empty. Apart from the usual Ethernet signal generator chips and such,
there are two other chips I haven't identified. One is about 10mm
square, labelled:

UMC
UM9095L
9441-BA
N831E6

The other is about 20x14mm with numerous connections, labelled:

UMC
UM9003AF
9420-CS
N320H6

None of my usual sources of network info mention a "UMC" or the chip
numbers. I've already tried the NE2000 drivers from Netware and Linux
without success.

Can anyone help?

cheers,
Fraser Farrell
