Well I'm relieved to know that what you offered to us wasn't a guarded
military secret. :)
What sort of "lab" is this (without going into specifics, of course)?
Apparently the government doesn't like the uncertainty (?) of software
produced within the shareware arrangement. (I can think of a lot less
unstable shareware than Microsoft Windows, at the moment...!)

Perhaps you and some of the others here will be satisfied with the use of J.
Anthony Borras's shareware version of VMiX 386, but I'd prefer to reserve
any serious testing of the product until we are able to get a registered
version -- which breaks the program down into two components: one for 386
machines and above, and one for less powerful machines. This is an
especially important need for those of us in the survivor PC categories.
There should be other equally effect ways to get the attention of the
original author; I still would like very much to contact him before using the
product.
Nonetheless, do what you think is best. Remember... Big Brother is watching
you... ;-)
By the way... I've already downloaded vmix290.zip from another web site that
another lister kindly showed to me. And I couldn't decode your file of it
sent to me privately -- not even with Net-Tamer's utility or my own uuencode
utility.
