first, does it just say "Tandy 1000" with no letters after it? If
so, you have an original Tandy 1000, the first model. Welcome to the
club. This was my fiorst computer, and it still works.

Now this one I'm not sure about. Maybe a periphial?

This computer came with 128K of RAm on the motherboard. You can
upgrade this to 256K, 384, 512, or 640K with ISA memory cards.(can be
hard to locate these days.)
The three round ports on the front are: Keyboard, and two joystick
ports. All three are proprietary. Standard keyboards or joysticks
won't work. There is also a light pen port ont eh back of this
machine, though not much software was written for the light pen.
Thsi computer often shipped with a green Monochrome monitor, but
guess what. It has a little video out jack on the back that you can
plug into the video in on your VCR and then use a tV set as a monitor.
Here's my web page on my old tandy computers:
http://chrys.addr.com/tandy/
Also, comp.sys.tandy on usenet for asking questions, and
www.tandy.com/support/ I think is the official site. On the support
site, there are specs, users guides, etc for many tandy computers.
   Enjoy the machine!
