All digests with duplicates (5 of them for 6/28), were archived at the
majordomo. So, logically, everyone should have this problem since these
digests were collected from the main list.

If mailing loop is really the problem, then the reposter's address should be
tracked-down and banned from Arachne list. This is the only way to prevent
further duplicates. Boycotting the list alone won't help.

Off course not! :) This list hosted at Softcon.com with L-Soft's LISTSERV,
which has loop-checking heuristics, spam filters, and safety features built-in.

It was Hoody. According to his post with headers quoted, he received some of
the duplicates *directly* from the spammer's robot. This might explain why
some list members got more duplicates than others.

The Brazilian address belong to an Arachne list member known as Louis Loeff.
He posted few messages before, and still subscribed to Arachne list. But then,
some of those "Received" lines might be forged. So don't blame him too soon.

Try run some of the duplicates (including full headers) at http://spamcop.net/
It might come up with more info.
