It wasn't really a boycott, just a two-day voluntary vacation for regular
posters. The idea was to cut down on the amount of posts that could be
duplicated, thus making it easier to see where the dups were coming from.

Unfortunately, either they are coming directly from the spammer, forging
the arachne majordomo very well - or the list is fed back to the majordomo
as individual email forgeries of many people's names. In either case,
Michael ( list owner ) is the only one who can access the incoming headers;
the list output won't do, because majordomo strips off the routing
information and creates its own new header.

I just wonder if someone is relaying the arachne list to a corporate,
university, or local government network, where it could be "bounced" back
to the arachne majordomo from someone who objects to receiving it.
It could be innocent. However, I do remember someone with the unusual
user name of "list-recive-arachne"... I'd look at that one, first.
