Never used the Palm, but for some reason I don't like the OS (I prefer a
keyboard myself).  The Psion EPOC16 (for the Series 3/3a/3c/Siena/Workabout
and maybe the HC and MC, but I'm not sure) is extremely fast, even running
on a 4.75MHz NEC V30H.  Haven't used EPOC32 (Series 5, GeoWhatever, phones
etc.) but I assume it's equally fast.  WinCE on the other hand...  it
almost always keeps a window open in the middle of the screen set to stay
on top with an hourglass in it.  Why they want to take one of the most
bloated desktop OSes and shrink it to fit on a palmtop beats me.  And don't
get me started on Windows NT/Embeddable...
