Any idea to the following problem:

A DOS programm, for example lynx, executes a batch file.
The call is done with lots of parameters.
In the batch file, lot of things should happen, depending
on the parameters. But there is not enogh space left in memory
for doing this. But the calling programm is not longer
used when the batch file isfinnished.
Is there a way to get rid of the calling programm from the memory?
Something like a kill -9 in linux?

Any ideas?
