The same thing happened for me with a .ini file in Windows 3.x once. I
havew no idea how this could happen - but the check should be before the
name is entered into the FAT and there's no check in ex. Dir since that
would just slow it down. Now what happens if one uses Windows to copy one
of the files?
I removed both of my own files (can't remember the name) and have never
seen this behavior afterwards. Interesting anyway, mostly since it's so odd
and annoying ;)
